Included in the fistfull of ballots Rappahannock voters will get on election day is a referendum on changing the method of selecting School Board members from appointment by the Board of Supervisors to election by the voters.
If the referendum passes, presumably the voters will elect School Board members in 1995, when the supervisors will also be up for election.
However, first the U.S. Department of Justice will have to agree to allow the election to go ahead.
