Hick Hunt Ford-Lincoln-Mercury was established in Warrenton in March, 1973.
Rick Hunt, who had previously worked at a dealership in Northern Virginia, took over the Warrenton Ford franchise from the previous owner, Wayne Brady, who had purchased the dealership from the Tom Frost estate a few years earlier.
In 1985, the dealership moved from the corner of U.S. 29 and 211 to an all-new facility on U.S. 29 north of Warrenton. The business has grown steadily since then, and is now called Rick Hunt Auto Park.
“The addition of the Chrysler products in 1991, and the introduction of Suzuki in 1992, brings the total number of makes offered at our dealership to seven,” said John Kuvakas, general sales manager.
The diverse dealership offers a large selection of used cars and trucks, and the service dpartment can repair and maintain all makes sold.
The owner and managers of the dealership feel that now it is the right time to purchase a car or truck.
