Alice Spicer
Alice Cannon Spicer, 77, of Occo' quan, Va., died Tuesday, Oct. 13Tit Potomac Hospital.
Mrs. Spicer has been a resident of Occoquan since 1955, she was past president of O.W.L. Auxiliary and was a lifetime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church.
She was the wife of the late William H. Spicer.
Survivors include a son, William H. Spicer Jr. of Woodbridge; three grandchildren; two sisters, Anna Byrd Williams of Alexandria and Clarita Haley of Hampton and one brother, Berrell Frank Cannon of McLean.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 15 at Mountcastle Funeral Home in Woodbridge with the Rev. Warren Bowden officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Vennie Dodson
Mrs. Vennie Clarke Dodson, 77, of Manassas, formerly of Rappahannock, died Saturday, Oct. 17 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Dodson was born in Rappahannock County July 24, 1915, the daughter of the late John Rossie and Lillian Pullen Clarke.
She was the wife of the late Milton H. Dodson and was a member of Reynolds Memorial Baptist Church.
