To the Editor:
President Bush’s attack on Gov. Clinton in the first TV debate on Oct. 11 exposes how his mind works and raises questions in my mind.
He repeated the idea that BUI Clinton’s participation in demonstrations and other activities opposing the Vietnam War whUe he was a student in England in 1968-69 reflects badly upon his character and judgment. Unfortunately, Mr. Bush did not explain why he believes that to be true.
