survivors include three sons, Milton H. Dodson Jr. and William B. Dodson, both of Manassas and John R. Dodson of Catlett; seven daughters, Mfcry F. Gentry and Anne D. Jenkins, both of Manassas, Lucille Atkins of Culpeper, Lillian D. Jenkins of Boston, Betty D. Keys and Shirley M. Dodson, both of Sperryville and Barbara D. Berry of Rutherford College, N.C.; 20 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Elsie Atkins and Eva Dodson, both of Sperryville and Virginia Woodard of New Market and two brothers, Amos Clarke of Washington and Cletus Clarke of Sperryville.
Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 19 at Clore Funeral Home with the Rev. Peyton Emorey and Michael Dodson officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper.
Katie Picket
Katie L. Picket, 64, of Herndon, died Wednesday, Oct. 14.
She was the wife of the late Walter Pickel.
Survivors include three daughters, Linda Jenkins of Amissville, Karen Banks of Sterling and Shirley Bush of Herndon; three sons, Warren Pickel of Warrenton, Walter Pickel Jr. of Buckland and Thomas Pickel of Herndon; three sisters, Celia Gesford of Harrisburg, Pa., Josephine Sturgill of Strawtown, Pa. and Anna Reed of Lickendale, Pa. and two brothers, John Brajkovich of Grantsville, Pa. and Frank Brajkovich of California.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Oct. 17 at Royston Funeral Home in Middleburg with the Rev. William Corum officiating. Interment was in Middleburg Memorial Cemetery.
