Anniversary celebration You are invited to the 119th anniversary of the First Baptist Church in Washington. The following ministers will be preaching: Monday, Oct. 26 Rev. Journey Beasley, Tuesday, Oct. 27 Rev. Earl King, Wednesday, Oct. 28 Rev. Dean Nelson, Thursday, Oct. 29 Rev. Walter Billy Scott and Friday, Oct. 30 a candlelight memorial service with Rev. Gordon Henderson. All of these services begin at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, Nov. 1 an all day service is planned with Sunday school at 11 a.m. with holy communion. Pastor Wendell Grant will be in charge. Dinner will be served after morning worship. At 3 p.m. Rev. Forrest Freeman and Bethel Baptist from Amis8ville will be the guests. “We are looking forward to seeing you at any or all of these services,” said a church spokesperson.
