Plan Fund Raiser
The Rappahannock County Library is starting a drive to replenish and enhance its collection of classic adult and children’s literature. Several events are planned to raise awareness and funds to fill in deficits and refurbish worn volumes considered classics. The activities include a fund raising party and an “Adopt-a-Classic" drive.
The Friends of the Library will hold a fund-raiser at The Meadows, home of FOL president Edwar$ Barton and his wife, Martha in Washington at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 18. A light buffet and music suitable for dancing spanning several generations will be provided.
