apologize for being unable to write the column for a couple of Weeks. Since my cardiac condition has worsened, I need to reduce the number of activities in which I’m involved.

The six-year secondary Road Pten public hearing by the Planning Commission is 7:30 p.m., Oct. 13. If passed, it will go to the Culpeper Bo&rd of Supervisors Nov. 2, 7 p.m. ! In Rappahannock County, the Board of Supervisors will probably hold the final hearing on road names at the Oct. meeting. Some roads have been changed from the original list. You may want to check your road name in the meantime.
Our thoughts and prayers are with many in the village wrho are ill. Mr. Gilbert Dennis had surgery on Aug. 27 and hopes to come home this week. Doris Bywaters had to return to the hospital but came home on Tuesday.
Mrs. Frances Semones was in the hospital last week but is home now.
Miss Phoebe Green would love to here from her many friends. Her new address is: Heritage Hall, Morven Park Road, Room North 29-B, Leesburg, Va. 22075.
The W.C. Stuarts spent last week in Williamsburg.
