they should start a sponsorship program. Anyone wanting to sponsor one or more women could take on the responsibility of buying their birth control for them or paying for their abortions. The government should not inflict this burden on those who feel it is morally wrong to end the life of a child and those who take birth control responsibility for themselves. Most all county health agencies in this country offer free birth control devices to poor women.
There is no excuse, only irresponsibility!

This is directed to James E. Swindler, II and his letter which appeared in the August 18, 1993 edition of the Rappahannock News. Mr. Swindler, you reduced your level, as you call it, when you tried to defend the “clique.” I had hoped for someone with more credentials than you coming to their defense.
The imaginary barriers you speak of from boyhood to manhood and getting an education, becoming a doctor or lawyer is no big deal in today’s society. People in prison do it every day and you help pay for their education.
When you speak of a doctor, do you mean one who has his own practice or one who just works in an emergency room and has a fear of catching AIDS in a sludged field? It seems that .an emergency room might be the place to contract AII)S-not sludged land.,
