With reference to land values122.9 acres on the east side of Rt. 732 in Fauquier County had a land value in 1985 of $261,300 and is currently valued at $459,900. This 122.9 acres I describe was sludged in 1986 and again this year. The neighboring farm which adjoins the 122.9 acres consists of 79.9516 acres and was valued in 1985 at $200,400 and is today valued at $527,400. Based upon these figures, I would draw the conclusion that Mr. Swindler’s statement about property adjoining the Warrenton Sewer Plant being the most valuable in the states is partially correct — it is zoned commercial. For future* information about the value of sludged land just call the Commissioner of Revenue’s Office Tor Fauquier County.
When people such as Fletcher, Miller, Irwin and Swindler refrain from flushing their commodes, neither famers nor Bio Gro Systems nor the Water Control Board will be involved in spreading sludge. Come on people — get educated! JAMES HARRISON POWERS
