Run over 2 1/8 miles, the Noland carries a $10,000 purse. The Future Champions Cup, sponsored by USA Healthnet, is qualified as a stakes race with its $25,000 purse. At the Oct. 16 International Gold Cup meet, runners face a 2%-mile test over Great Meadow’s level course near The Plains.
