Lester Dodson

Lester Ohio Dodson, 70, of Front Royal died Monday, Sept. 6 in the Warren Memorial Hospital.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Sperryville Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Kite, with military honors.

Mr. Dodson was born March 10, 1922, in Rileyville son of the late Kate M. Walker Dodson. He was a retired heavy equipment operator having been employed by Rappawan, Inc. and was a WWII Army veteran. He was married to the late Anna Frye Clark Dodson.

Surviving are a step-son Willie R. Clark of Shenandoah; two stepdaughters Marie A. Elkins and Billie J. Yowell both of Front Royal; ten step-grandchildren and three stepgreat-granchildren.

Honorary pallbearers will be Thaniel Dodson, James Clark, Ricky Clark and Michael Clark.
