His painting for the 1993 International Gold Cup, “Gold Cup — The Water Jump,” is a testament of why he has gained national recognition.
His works hang in the permanent collections of the National Portrait Gallery, the Phoenix Musuem of Art, the Virginia Museum and countless other public, corporate and private collections in Japan, Europe and the United States. A book on his work is slated for publication in the spring of 1995, and his equine work is the subject of an article by Frank Getlein, an art critic often referred to as the dean of Washington art critics, in the October/November issue of Equine Images magazine.
