Other preferred hummingbird species include Azaleas, Bee balm, Cardinal flower, Columbine, Jewelweed, Mimosas, Trumpet honeysuckle, and Trumpet vine.

Hummingbirds are of course only one of dozens of species of migratory birds to be seen in April. Some return here to nest, while others rest temporarily on their way to breeding sites farther north.
