for participants in the annual Miss Rappahannock contest will be held in the gymnasium of the elementary school. For over 25 years this fund raising community event has drawn about 500 -600 adults and children. The money that is raised for the Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad is used for purchase and maintenance of equipment. Registration will begin at 2 p.m. and rehearsal starts at 2:30 p.m., beginning with the little ones. If you would like to volunteer for the May 5 Miss Rappahannock Pageant, call Ray Boc at 9879706.
