A massive rusting piece of metal is wedged on the rocks of the Rappahannock River at the bridge next to the rescue squad. Whose responsibility is it to get that out? Looks like it belongs to the community! Does anyone have the equipment to haul that massive metal out of the river? If you have equipment or ideas, contact Hunt Harris at the Ragged Mountain Resource Center. Hunt will coordinate volunteers. VDOT has agreed to work cooperatively with us in any matter relating to the road, but it is beyond the scope of their responsibility to remove it.
