May 5: Spring Bird Walk
The Rappahannock League for Environmental Protection’s Biodiversity Task Force will hold Ms spring bird walk at Jordan River Farm on Saturday May 5, led by Shenandoah National Park Ecologist and Data Manager Dr. Alan Williams. Bird migration should be at its peak and Jordan River Farm offers a great mix of fields, forests, and ponds to see birds from hawks to hummingbirds. All are welcome, from novices and experienced birders, but participants must be registered in advance since the wale is limited to 25 participants.
