Networking luncheon
The Rappahannock Nonprofit Center will host the Nonprofit Networking Luncheon on Wednesday, May 2 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. This luncheon series is to provide nonprofits an opportunity to network, discuss concerns and issues they are facing, and to share information and resources they have found to be helpful. Come and join us at our new office space at 12018 B Lee Highway, below Antique Tables Made Daily, at the SperryviHe Schoolhouse property. If you know you’re coming, please let us know in advance at 987-8011. If you don't know in advance, then come anyway!
May 4: Culpeper Fiesta
The Hispanic Committee of Culpeper will host Culpeper Fiesta at the downtown train depot on Friday, May 4 from 6-10 p. m. Thanks to Los Inmigrantes, our local Mexican band and DJ Woody, our local DJ of Latin music. There will be a variety of foods from different Latin countries for purchase, guaranteed to be the real thing! The Fiesta will be a great day for children! There will be piriatas, games, face-painting, stories, lasso trials, seeds to plant, and other activities. Families in Culpeper and the surrounding area should keep the date open amt plan to visit and participate in Culpeper Fiesta. Bring your own chair and enjoy the evening! It is the first of many downtown Culpeper parties this summer. No admission. Fun for the entire family with activities for children, lots of food and music. A visit to Latin America right here at our Depot in Culpeper! May 4: "The Last King of Scotland”
The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the Community (RAAC) will sponsor the film, The Last King of Scotlancf on Friday, May 4 at 8 p.m. at The Theatre on Gay Street, Washington. Adults $6, students $4, children $3.

Donated to RAWL by Drs. Renee & John Nolan Saturday, May 5, 2007 at the Rappahannock Animal Welfare League (RAWL) Route 639 off of Route 211 in Amissville by the landfill. 9:00 am - 1:00 pm $10 per pet - dogs & cats All proceeds go to RAWL Vaccinations will be available for Cats & Dogs from any county, (pets must be at least 4 months old) For more information call 937-3336.
