Library hosts story hour
Bring your children and enjoy the stories, crafts and socializing at the Rappahannock County Library's Autumn Story Hour for preschoolers.
It will be held at 10 a.m. every Wednesday, Oct. 30-Nov. 27.

All library programs are free and open to the public. .
Halloween Fire Hall dance
Rappahannock's own Venus Jones performs at the annual county masquerade ball, 9 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 at the Washington Fire Hall.
Tickets are $8 apiece, and no loitering outside the Fire Hall will be permitted. Those attending must wear some sort of costume to get in.
Spring Mountain School will be selling food and drinks, but there will be no liquor license for the event.
