Com price

loans available

Farm program participants who have suitable storage or the use of an approved warehouse may obtain a price support loan on their 1991 com crop at $1.81 per bushel.

The ASCS commodity loan program provides farmers with operating cash and allows them to hold their crops off the market and benefit from price increases that often come after harvest.

Farmers can store the grain for as short a time as they wish or for as long as nine months.

Farmers interested in corn loans should contact the local ASCS office.
