A report that re» views the present state of the building has been sent out, and Mayor Morehouse expressed hope that the town can use jail trustys to weatherize, prime and paint the building. A committee to plan renovations and the future use of the building will meet later this month, said the mayor.
• Agreed to advertise for administrative help for the council, a parttime position that will pay according to the qualifications of the person who is selected.
Duties will include secretarial work, information gathering, typing minutes of town meetings, holding regular office hours, dealing with state agencies and other related work.
According to vice mayor Brad Fisher, money to fund the position is available between salaries in the budget and the professional services * category of the budget. ‘ *
The council said it hoped to hire acounty resident to fill the position.
