“Last year we lost on the first round,” Mr. Flinchum said, adding in other years “the team has done very well.”
When the team is off the air, they are competing on screen.
The Pop Quiz team participates in Knowledge Master Open—an electronic competition played on computers against schools around the state and across the nation.
“There are probally 100 schools in our category,” Mr. Flinchum said, adding the high-tech computer games take two or three hours- to complete and are scored on a local, state and national level.
