Keysville Post, 4.4 miles east of Flint Hill on Route 647 at its intersection with Route 637, the home of Dr. Phillip E. Wine and Mary Mochary. The property derives its name because until 1880 it was the Keysville Post Office.
When it was found that there was more than one Keysville in the state, the name was changed to Lottie Post Office, after the old name of Route 647. The office was in the existing bam.
The residence consists of two buildings transported here and added to since 1922. It was in that year that Col. Sterling Larrabee moved a log house, which dates back to the early 1800s and was used as a mule bam, to the site. Col. Larrabee added a kitchen and bedroom and used the house as a hunting lodge. From here he founded the Old Dominion Hunt.
