Irvin L. Kenyon, game warden for Rappahannock County, has announced the names and locations of the bear-deer-turkey checking stations for the 1972-73 hunting season. The warden emphasized that state law requires each hunter who kills a bear, deer or turkey must detach the appropriate tab from his beardeer-turkey license and attach it to the kill before moving it from the place of kill.
He must then immediately take the kill to an official checking station where the license tab will be exchanged for an official game tag.
