The hemlocks are dying, the oak forest has met a significant decline, and our streams are filled with acid rain. Let’s save a little wildlife if for no other reason than to have some remaining draw for the tourist dollars.
An extended season on an al. ready absurd seasonal gunningdown, to ultimate extermination, of our black bears is unacceptable.
I’m sure the elected officials in California thought that they were helping their re-election when they allowed the grizzly bear to be hunted to extinction in the state whose flag still carries its image.
