Muriel Brown
Muriel Warren Dailey Brown, 68, of Amissville, died Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
Mrs. Brown was the secretary and bookkeeper for the Blue Ridge Trading Post and the Amissville Glass Company from July 1964 to November 1991. She was also a member of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Department’s Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur L. Brown; one brother, Thomas Edward Shirley of Annandale; three sisters, Catherine Lockwood of Silver Spring, Md., Mary Burke of Annandale and Helen Biondi of Boca Raton, Fla.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Oct. 14 at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton by Father Philip J. Majka. Interment followed in Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.
