Land-use tax system
In recent months the “land use” tax system has been subject of increasing public scrutiny, some insisting that this usevalue tax system is providing benefits to some people for whom it was never intended.
The policy basis for the use-value tax system as set forth in the Code of Virginia is reprinted here in its entirety:
