In addition to the live music on Saturday, Sunday’s gospel music will include the Amissville Baptist Blue Grass Band, “Jesus Junction,” beginning at 2 p.m. Featured will be Pastor Tom Everett and Jerry Curtis on guitar, Wes Mills on mandolin, Steve Mallory on banjo and Lou Morrison and Rick Nawrocki on vocals.
Also, on Saturday, Oct. 24, the Ruritans will kick off their annual fruit cake drive at Hackley’s parking lot. Special thanks to Mr. Frank McWhirt of Chestnut Hills Christmas Tree Farm who is donating many tree plantings to the Ruritans for sale the same day.
