Vera Southard
Vera Lorraine Southard, 75, of Remington, died Thursday, Oct. 8 at Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.
She was bom in Fauquier County on March 20,1917.
She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Southard; two daughters, Joyce Garcia and Debbie Southard, both of Remington; two sons, Haywood Southard Sr. of Remington and Johnny Southard of Bealeton; two sisters, Thelma Colvin of Amissville and Edith Thomas of Aiken, S.C.; four brothers, Eddie Bywaters and Arthur Bywaters, both of Florida, Harold Bywaters of Ohio and Lloyd Bywaters of Amissville; five grandchildren and three greatgrandchildren.
A funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 10 at Moser Funeral Home with the Rev. Joseph Anderson officiating. Interment was in Remington Cemetery.
