Braunton Elliott

Braunton (Brew) Lee Elliott, 87, a life-long resident of Culpeper, died Wednesday, Oct. 7 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Rappahannock County, the son of Ada Liilard and William Joseph Elliott.

He retired after 35 years with the American Silk Mill in Orange.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Mrs. Lena J. Elliott; a daughter, Nancy Clatterbuck of Fairfax. He is also survived by his brother, John Elliott and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Hicks and Mrs. Helen Snyder, all of Culpeper.

A funeral service was held Saturday, Oct. 10 at Found and Sons Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Everett McCormick officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery.

Pallbearers were William Thornhill, Robert Thornhill, Paul Blow Jr., Emmett Martin, Billy Martin and Patrick Martin.
