President Sharon Pierce and Susan Strittmatter representing the Rappahannock County Conservation Alliance presented Rappahannock Board of Supervisors Chairman Charles “Pete” Estes with a check for $15,000 at' tast Monday's meeting. While raising the money was a challenge, Pierce praised the group for their commitment and was delighted that they could help the county with their conservation and preservation efforts.
