“Mary is really the greatest asset I have,” said Jerry Kilgore. “I always joke with her that she generates more support and enthusiasm at political events than any candidate ever has. We both consider this effort important to our family.”
Kilgore spent some time in Washington visiting several of the retail stores before her next stop - Brown's ChineseAmerican restaurant in Luray and then it would be on to Madison County before heading home where she and Jerry will often compare notes of where they've been and who’ve they've talked with and how things have gone.
“It's a big state and there are are a lot of counties and a lot of ground to cover,” admitted Kilgore.
“It's exciting, I'm happy to be doing this,” said Kilgore. “I just take it a day at a time, a week at a time.”
