The singular and unique character of Rappahannock County is mirrored in the spirit of the county's two bookstores, the Old Sperryville Bookshop and Fly-By-Night Books. This November, the international mega-bookstore chain Borders will be opening a location in nearby Warrenton, bringing more titles within easy reach of Rappahannock bookworms. While they will never carry as many books as a Borders or the other large chain stores, Rappahannock's local stores will remain competitive by staying unique and in time with their community.
