Does anyone have a good solution to wandering cats? I know they are someone’s pets, but, still.... We put up a bluebird house this spring, and were delighted when a pair moved in within a week. After a while, we could see that they were busy feeding some hungry youngsters.
Then we find a pile of blue feathers just beneath the birdhouse, and the only one bringing food is the male. Next, the male disappears. We waited awhile, but it was too late. We opened the box, and two little fellows, already with blue feathers, had starved.
Now,- we didn’t see it happen, so we can’t rule out a fox or a hawk or some other wild predator, but we have at least five different cats that patrol the property on a regular
