Father Patrick Wanakuta Baraza, a Kenyan bom Catholic priest and friend of area resident Ann Georgia McCaffray and Central Coffee's Maggie Rogers, was in town visiting his friends here, and was persuaded to tell a few stories about his life and experiences. He spoke recently at the Central Coffee Roasters in Sperryville.

Eclectic mix
An eclectic selection of Rappahannockans turned out to hear what this visitor had to say. The Reverend Phillip Bailey of Washington Baptist was there, and led a brief public prayer at the outset, asking God to help all of us in our own journey of love.
