Wakefield Country Day School (WCDS) students are reading this summer, as in summers past, to strengthen skills and foster intellectual growth through the classics.
Bret Heddleston of Sperryville will be entering seventh grade in the fall and has four books on his summer list. He thinks that the reading program helps keep up his school skills over the summer. His favorite of this year’s summer reading selection was “Watership Down” by Richard Adams. “Watership
