Mr. and Mrs. Shelvey Frazier of Castleton Ford Road were honored with a party Sunday, in observance of their 25th wedding anniversary, given by their children, Janet Peregory and children, Joseph and Jennifer, Nancy Robinson, Charles and Ray Wharton. The event took place at the Castleton Fire Hall, with a bountiful lunch and anniversary cake being served.
In addition to Mr. Frazier’s sister, Marie Atkins, and his niece, Brenda Frazier and Mrs. Frazier’s sister, Madeline, and about 75 other friends attended bringing gifts and great wishes.
Congratulations to Emily Estes and Jake Malony, who won first place in the Anastasia contest sponsored by the Salem Ruritan Club and held at the New Salem Baptist Church. Both of these young people are students at Culpeper Christian School. Good luck is extended to each of them, and keep up the good work.
Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to Mrs. Dorothy Hitt Settle and family, upon the passing of her husband, Howard, which occurred at University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville on Wednesday.
