Henry C. Jenkins, 100, of Front Royal, formerly of Rappahannock, died on Friday, April 28, at Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal.
Mr. Jenkins was bom Dec. 2, 1905 in Rappahannock County, son of the late Albert and Ida Jenkins.
He was a retired farm worker and worked for Foster Brothers Packing House for 50 years in Flint Hill.
Mr. Henry leaves behind a loving family that knew him as a strong, vibrant, man of faith, and leadership. His precious memories and common pleasures, family and friends were always greeted by a smile, which would light up a room. He was a loving man and had a heart of gold. He will be loved and sadly missed always.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Mary Helen Fincham Jenkins of Front Royal. They were married Aug. 26,1958
Additional survivors include four daughters; Brenda Cameron and husband Micheal, Ida Frances Cameron, Margaret Tharp and husband Robert all of Front Royal, and Gloria Fincham of Luray, one son Raymond Calvin Jenkins and wife Item of Front Royal, twelve grandchildren; thirty-one greatgrandchildren; four great-greatgrandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
