Richmond Photographer
An Artist’s Reception for photographer George Collier will be held Sunday, May 7, from 2-5 p.m. at Packing Shed Gallery in Washington, Virginia. Through Collier’s lens, Richmond’s riverside bridge piers and spans and historic 19th century canal walls and factory buildings become monumental architecture forms and spaces enhanced by the water’s reflections. “The James, the Bridges, & the Canal: Images & Details” will be on view from May 4th through the 29th with gallery hours Thursday through Monday from 12:30-7 p.m. For more information, call (540) 675-3410.

The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter of the NSDAR will meet for a tour of James Madison’s Montpelier on Tuesday, May 9.
