Annual Bikes for the World
The Warrenton Rotary Club is holding the 5th Annual Bikes for the World used bike collection on May 13 from 9 am until noon. The collection will take place in front of the Sears store on Rt. 29 in Warrenton. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be provided. A $10 cash donation to defray shipping costs is graciously requested but not required. Bikes collected are shipped to Third world countries for transportation to jobs and to school. Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will be having their Picking Party on Saturday, May 13th at Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department at 6 p.m. All Bluegrass and Country bands are welcome. There will be a 50/50 raffle. The Fire Department Auxiliary will be selling great refreshments. Come out and enjoy a great night of fun in a alcohol and smoke free environment.
