Let’s not forget the Annual Relay For Life Walkathon Fundraiser to help the American Cancer Society fight the disease of cancer. The walkathon will be held on Saturday, May 20. The opening ceremony will start at 4 p.m. at the Rappahannock County Elementary school. Remember the registration will begin at 3 p.m. The closing awards ceremony and celebration time is set for 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 21.
Birthday wishes go out to Ryan O’Connell. His day is today, May 4.
Community lost
a dear friend
The community was saddened to hear that James Leake passed away on Sunday, April 30.
He was a life-long resident of Rappahannock County and the Village of Sperryville where he was a real estate agent and broker for 34 years. He will be missed dearly. Our hearts goes out to his family.
