On Saturday, May 13 at 8 p.m., the Theatre at Washington, Virginia, will present the Washington Saxophone Quartet (WsaxQ) in a concert titled “The 3 Bs: Bach, Bernstein and the Beatles.”
Rich Kleinfeldt, speaking for the Quartet, said, “The idea of the ‘three Bs’ in music has been around for a long time and it’s catchy, and predictable. Instead of Bach, Beethoven and Brahms, the Quartet picked Bach, Bernstein and the Beatles, because of their impact on music in our time.”
