Host Lions
Club announces
expansion of its
Annual Golf
Tournament
Hospice of the Rapidan and the Host Lions Club have joined together to co-host the 2006 Annual Lions Club Golf Tbumament on Monday, May 22, at The Country Club of Culpeper. Proceeds from the tournament will benefit both organizations, and the event provides an opportunity for golfers in central Virginia to combine their love of this great game with service to their community. One hundred golfers participated in last year’s event, and with the addition of Hospice of the Rapidan as a co-sponsor the 2006 tournament should be even more popular.
The tournament is open to all, and entries from individual golfers, teams, and corporate sponsors are welcome. This fun event includes a BBQ luncheon, raffle prizes, lots of contests, and wonderful sponsorship opportunities. Entries must be received by May 18. The event begins at 7:30 a.m. and the shotgun start is scheduled for 8:30 am.
