BOARD OF SUPERVISORS

RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY, VIRGINIA

PURSUANT to Section 170-129 of the Rappahannock County Code and Section 15.2-2204 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended, notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors for Rappahannock County, Virginia, will hold a public hearing on Monday, June 5, 2006 at 7:00PM in the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia, in order to consider the following application:

SE 06-04-02 Wakefield Country Day School, Inc., owner of 6.60 acres on Zachary Taylor Highway, Huntly (Tax Map 5, Parcel 13B, zoned A-Agricultural, Wakefield District) desires to amend Special Permit No. 176 to construct a two-story classroom building, move the entrance to the property, move the parking area, replace the temporary buildings with a new two-story building, and renovate and expand the original school building. Use allowed under Code Section 170-36B of the Rappahannock County Code; additional standards under Code Section 170-63B, C and E of the Code.

A COPY of the foregoing application is on file at the Zoning Office in Washington, Virginia, and is available for public inspection, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Said application will be presented to the Rappahannock County Planning Commission at their regular meeting on Wednesday, May 17, 2006 at 7:30PM at the Rappahannock County Courthouse for such recommendation as the Commission may wish to make pursuant to Section 170-55, if any. The above-named applicant, adjacent property owners, and any other parties desiring to be heard should be present at said meeting or should address their written comments to the Board of Supervisors, c/o P.O.
