May 9: Spring Wildflower Walks
Bruce Jones has been naturalizing his property in Tiger Valley for years, reintroducing many native plants that are now scarce in the county and attracting native wildlife in the process. Join Bruce for a stroll around his property to see spring wildflowers and to hear about the reintroduction process. Wildflowers you might see include columbine, trillium, red buckeye, Virginia fringe tree, marsh marigold, spring larkspur, shooting star, trailing arbutus, and bird’s foot violet.
