Mrs. Frances Tabler and her son, Richard Yowell of Chalfont, Pa. who was her houseguest were guests at a birthday party Saturday evening for her daughter, Mrs. Frank Marcey in Falls Church. On Sunday they attended a party for her granddaughter, Melanie Yowell in Arlington for her 16th birthday. Mr. Yowell returned to his home in Pennsylvania on Sunday.
Mrs. Ruby Dwyer spent the weekend in Luray with Mr. and Mrs. Maywood Cornwell.
Deployed
Navy Aviation Structural Mechanic Airman William C. Lancaster Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. William C. Lancaster Sr. of Boston, is currently deployed to the Mediterranean.
He is a member of Attack Squadron 176, based at Naval Air Station Oceana, 'Virginia Beach, Va., and currently embarked aboard the aircraft carrier USS Independence.
The squadron is operating off the coast of Lebanon in support of the Multinational Peacekeeping Force.
