The hunt meeting schedule has undergone a healthy number of changes starting with the inaugural meeting of the Palm Beach Steeplechase March 10. The $40,000 purse structure included four races, three over fences, with the $15,000 Sotheby Cup as the feature.
To be held at the Palm Beach Polo and Country Club, the event will be set up on the two main polo fields of a mile circuit. The National Fences will be used fo* the three brush races that include a $10,000 maiden ’chase, the feature, and an allowance ’chase.
