Forest Wardens for the area are reminding everyone that the 4 o’clock Brush Burning Law goes into effect on Thursday, March 1, and is in effect until May 15.
Section 10-62B of the State law makes it unlawful to set fire to, any brush, leaves, grass, debris or other inflammable material capable of spreading fire, located in or within 300 feet of any woodland, or brushland, except between the hours of 4 p.m. and 12 o’clock midnight.
