plumbing facilities in flood plain; however, that would not cover the church addition sought by Rev. Burke, according to Konick.

The allowance for construction of additions and enlargements to existing buildings “and maybe even some now ones” should be broadened. Miller replied, adding, however, that residences and other structures with plumbing facilities should continue to be prohibited.

Konick noted that the main Gid Brown Church does not have plumbing facilities. “And if they can’t get a health permit, I reckon they’re not going to put any in (the proposed addition),” he said.

“I clon’t think there’s any place on the whole church lot where they could get a drain field,” Miller added.
