“We can’t all own the Washington Redskins or the Dallas Cowboys,” says Dr. Joe Rogers, joint master of the Loudoun Hunt and owner of Private Gary, winner of the 1983 Virginia Gold Cup and one of the leading timber horses in the country. “But I think that if you live in the hunt country and get involved in hunting and horse events you pretty soon end up owning a jump horse.”
